Work permits


**WORK PERMITS ISSUED BY APPOINTMENTS ONLY**

All Employees of a vendor operating permit holder must obtain a Work Permit from the Department of Labor Compliance office. Contact the Department of Labor Compliance Officer or Compliance Assistant at (575) 759-4416 or (575) 759-4417 to make an appointment.

The Following information will be required to obtain a Work Permit:
  1. Copy of Driver's License or Photo ID. Alien registration cards are NOT an acceptable form of ID.
  2. Description of position held.
  3. A copy of Vendor Operating Permit Certificate issued by JOGA.
  4. A copy of the Clearance Letter issued by the Revenue & Taxation Department.
  5. A completed Application for Work Permit. WORK PERMIT APPLICATION
  6. Fees: $10.00 per employee. Fees payable with cash or company check (preferred). We are unable to accept payment with credit or debit cards. (EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1, 2011 WORK PERMITS WILL BE $10.00 PER EMPLOYEE)
